Well, we are still on the vent. We thought everything was going very smoothly this morning, but when the doctor came in, he thought J was too sedated to come off the vent today. We are, of course, disappointed. But we also want to do the thing that is best for J. So we will wait for tomorrow.
J is otherwise doing very well. We will update again tomorrow. Hopefully by then the vent will be history.

Patience, good things will come from waiting.
I got some photos of Allen today on the football field and i had Alex and him take a photo together in their uniforms. I will email you them when i get them loaded on my computer.

I heard about the accident the day after it happened. I immediately added J to our prayer list at church. We (family and I)have been on vacation in St Louis, so I haven't had the opportunity to check his progress until now.
Have patience, he has come a long way in this short time. We will keep J, you, and the boys in our prayers.
