Monday, September 8

Hurray, J is home! He was released form Health South this morning. He spent a relaxing day in his recliner and went to Allen's first football game tonight. He is in bed now doing his CPM. So far so good! He has several doctor's appointments for the next few weeks. This may just be what we have to get used to this fall. It is so nice to have him home. Now all my most favorite people are back under the same roof!

Love,

Cara

Hi Jerry and Cara,

It must be so nice to be home. I know it's still a long haul, but we are with you. Hopefully you got to watch Monday night football on a big screen....

Take care

I've been told that if you do something every day for a month it will become a habit. I guess I am making a habit for praying for J. I guess I could have a lot worse habits. I knew he was going to be okay, but him making it home is literally a relief to me. I know he's got a long hard road ahead, but I think, the worst is over. Still waiting for a post from our Capt'n. "Live long and prosper"....lol

This is to all friends and family that have been keeping me in your thoughts and prayers throughought this incredible ordeal that I am going through. Yes, this is J and I will be taking over the post very soon. I can't thank you all enough for your support. It is with your support that I am able to heal this quickly. Please remember Cara as she has gone into triple time taking care of me and the boys. She has become quite the nurse and care taker. She has had very little time for herself in the past 1 1/2 months. Both my parents and Cara's parents have been tremendous and have completely re-arranged their schedule to help me.
Cara is right. One of her earlier posts says that I want to express my gratitude to all of you.
The visits have been wonderful. Even the early ones that I do not remember. Please feel free to visit at the house as well, but call first. I have dozens of appointments and I would not want to miss you. Feel free to e-mail at jh3ar@yahoo.com or call at 479-445-6377
Thank you EVERYBODY
Love J

Jay- I'm very glad you're home, but more importantly, that you made it through. You scared us. Your and Cara's strength and love is apparent and I am happy that she shared this time with us.
